Background

Recent economic melt down in the last year has brought out the importance of economic viability vehicles and technologies. Environment and safety concerns are leading to stricter safety and emission norms.

Fossil fuels are fast depleting and there is a need for conserving them with better efficiency. In addition, there is a need to search for alternate fuels and other renewable energy sources. Meeting all the above requirements together requires innovative technologies and human resources that develop them and harness them.

International Mobility Engineering Conference and Exposition 2009

SAEINDIA, the largest associate of SAE International, is organizing this congress along with an exposition that will focus on technologies.

The congress and the exposition will focus on technologies that are relevant to sustainable mobility. In addition, preparing the mobility engineering work force to develop, manage and harness innovative technologies will be addressed. A strong national and international level participation comprising practicing engineers, researchers, industries, R&D organizations, faculties from educational institutions and a large posse of student community are expected.
